Important Instructions For Taxpayers
Login Instructions(General)
- New Users Sign-up/Register to Pay Tax
- New Users not sign-up earlier on this portal, kindly Sign-up/Register before login to Pay Tax.
- Existing
Registered/Sign-up user logged in by using (as per their
Sign-up details)
(i) Mobile Number and OTP
OR
(ii) User-ID/Password (Email and OTP) - Sign-up (New User) has two
options,
i) Mobile and OTP or User-ID/Password (Email and OTP) Officer login is for the Administration purpose.
(ii) Bank login is for the Bank purpose.

Instructions For Already Registered “NRI TAXPAYERS”
- The login process has been stopped by using international mobile numbers, therefore such NRIs/taxpayers may use any one of the following methods for login to pay their property tax seamlessly.
- By using their Indian
Mobile Number:-
Step 1:- Sign-Up as a new user on the login page using “New User Click Here For Sign Up / Registration”
Step 2:- Request for UPIC Transfer after Login into MCD Portal
Step 3:- Once your request is approved by the officer, your UPIC will be bind with the new Mobile number. Now you can manage your Login by using the Indian Mobile Number & OTP. - By using E-mail ID:-
Step 1:- Sign up by using the link “New User Click Here for the Sign Up / Registration” link after that select EMAIL OTP LOGIN & PASSWORD
Step 2:- You may use your Email id as the Login ID
Step 3:- Request for UPIC Transfer after Login into MCD Portal
Step 4:- Once approved by the officer your request, your UPIC is available in the login id. Now you may manage your login id by using your email id and OTP received on your email id. - Login Instructions For New “NRI TAXPAYERS”
- New NRI may use any of the
following methods to Sign up using Sign Up / Registration
link and login to pay their property tax seamlessly.
i) By using their Indian Mobile Number
OR

Repository
- During scrutiny, if department finds any difference in the tax declaration, the penalty would be applicable as per rules.
- The department would not be responsible for multiple payments made by a taxpayer for a single property.
- Taxpayer can avail rebate of 10% (Advance tax payment rebate) by paying tax before 30th June of current FY.
- Taxpayer can avail a rebate of 2% as an “Online payment rebate” for residential property and Tax up to Rs. 10,000./-
PTR Filing Instructions
- First-time Taxpayer should search the property from old Legacy data using Search property option that appears after login.
- Existing Taxpayer can pay tax by clicking on Pay Tax under ACTIONS button.
- Unique Property Identification Code (UPIC), a 15 digit alphanumeric code is mandatory to pay tax for every property.
- In case your property don't have UPIC, kindly Apply For New UPICfor payment of property tax.
- Authorized persons may Sign-up on behalf of Govt./State/Organisation/Public Institutions.
